Metropolis (1927) is fantastic. It is National Socialist even though the director Fritz Lang later turned into an asshole. Metropolis was made in Germany during the Weimar period. First it shows how terrible Capitalism is. Then it shows a fake Socialism that is really controlled by the Capitalist. This clearly refers to Communism. In the movie the mob destroys the machines. The Communists destroyed the business leaders who created stores and things. The ending is all about ending class warfare.

The movie says that Socialism started 2,000 years ago in catacombs. Underground catacombs were used by the Christians when Christianity was illegal in Rome. In the movie the workers meet in the catacombs where there are Christian crosses and candles, and the saintly woman who is the leader of the Socialist movement. The Capitalist sees how popular Socialism is so he corrupts it (Communism). Blacks are only seen in the movie when they are showing depravity.
